About Me

Hello and welcome to my website! I will tell you a little about myself and how I finally got to be the best version of my physical self and for that, I will need to go a little back in time, back to the early 90's. 

Through my teenage years I could eat anything and everything and all of a sudden, I was smashed by hormonal ups and downs and in a blink of an eye I just began to deal with a slow metabolism and certainly low self-esteem issues.

So, in order to look like a long lean gal as I used to be or perhaps even better -just as the magazines claim the perfect body to be, you know, perfectly lean, no cellulite, firm, slim, small waist and the list goes on- I can recall my life was always about losing weight, counting calories, running on a treadmill to burn all the dessert calories I had just eaten, starving myself into anorexia, becoming bulimic, getting under the knife, you name it! I was willing to do whatsoever and try whichever diet -either fad's or not. 

In terms of exercise, well, I was pretty much a hyperactive and athletic kid regardless of anything going on with my eating disorders: horseback riding, gymnastics, swimming, karate, running, ice skating, tennis, aerobics, dancing, weight lifting, kick boxing, pilates, spinning... bla bla bla. 

Throughout my 20's, I was so ashamed about being overweight that I quit the booze and all junk food ever, and worked out for over 4hrs a day. I had all the supplements you can possibly imagine and I thought I was feeding myself with the best and training efficiently because I trained with an "experienced" guy from the gym... the so called "bro science applied"! Obviously, bad consequences came with this lifestyle: no major changes in my body, frustration, injections, thyroid breakdowns... terrible. 

Around the age of 38 I decided to get deeper into nutrition and Certified as Healthcoach  with IIN and also Certified in Pre, Trans and Post Pregnancy Nutrition with DR. Sears Nutrition School. I learned so much more and discovered many other fact I just wasn't aware of throughout my whole fitness and my supposedly right on point training and nutrition.                                                                                         

From the day my son was born in 2015, I have no bigger wish than to age in the proper way to be strong and healthy for him and my family! It's not easy to keep up with an energetic kid and this certainly pushes me into seeking for a way to get me strong and lean and also to achieve my best physique ever. 

This is when I decided to try strength training once again and becoming a CPT so I could learn everything about how our bodies work and react upon exercise and nutrition. I was fascinated and immersed myself into the awesome world of bodybuilding. 

Since that moment and in just 10 months, I am still the same weight but with a whole different body composition. I thought I was healthy, and boom! what a surprise when although I kept an unsustainable 900 to 1200 kcal on a daily basis, my body fat was in the obese category. Imagine my awe and sorrow... and now, as I said, after 10 months of hard work and focusing in what comes into my plate, I am now with the best body I would ever thought I would be in my late 40's and I am thrilled. I can say I want more and more of this lifestyle and longevity boosting metabolism in my life. Eating thrice as much, having muscles, having abs. 

And well, as you can see by my pictures... I achieved major results in as little as 6 months and you can do it too by committing to your new you since today!
